Here is a little about me:

My name is Jasmine Green but please call me Jazz. I graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design in December 2013. I have a bachelor’s degree with a major in 3D Animation and a minor in creative writing.

After obtaining my degree, I immediately started work to gain experience. With freelance, I contributed with helping indie companies create many games. Most of which are in their final stages before being produced to the public. With each game, my role was a 3D artist. I did mostly environment work like creating the main character’s weapons to the rock on the ground. I can create any object given to me. With the role of the freelance artist, I still continue to do this kind of work because it let’s me work with a team into working on the same goal. Doing so, with the past internships I experienced taught me the same as well. One of which is at a large company where I took on the role as a Graphic Designer. It was different than what I’m used to but I’m glad it happened. This company taught me how a company works first hand with sudden changes and quick responses and tight deadlines. Each time, you have to act fast and think faster; that trait helped me with my own work and with the work I used elsewhere. It also taught me about how having connections help the workplace. That is how I managed to get a job developing a animation short for Disney.
So throughout the years, I managed many roles as a intern, a tutor and a freelancer. With each opportunity given to me, they have told me they admire how much effort I put into my work which is why my temporary work is always extended longer. I have been told that work is creative and fast pace. With myself, my friends, former coworkers and employers have called me a workaholic, responsible, honest considerate of others and very friendly. I don’t believe in spreading negative energy throughout the workplace to bring everyone down. If everyone is in a good mood, then the work will run smoothly.
Each experience I gained, I learned more than what I expected and with each skill I managed to improve my work more; but I made sure to keep my mind focus on what I want to do in life. I always find time to do my own personal work. Another personal thing about me is that I have always loved the idea of gaming. It is because it is something you can create all your own and being able to interact with it. Which is way every drawing I do, every 3D scene I create, all of them are connected to something else to create one story, one world. I created multiple stories I want to develop one day. Having that chance create a unique world is something I want to do for a living.
